Music Shows

Nominated for “Best Live Show Room” in Montreal at the 2008 SMIM Awards (Salon de la Musique Indépendante de Montréal), the Centre St-Ambroise has quickly become a popular venue in the Montreal music scene. Housed in a room finished with beautiful old wood (which creates incredible acoustics!), the Centre provides an intimate atmosphere for artists to perform for their fans. And with plenty of fresh award-winning beer straight from the brewery next door, it is a favorite among artists and concertgoers alike!

Benefits for Artists

Performing at the Centre St-Ambroise has many benefits for artists, including the chance at winning cash bursaries, being chosen for showcase opportunities, being able to raise money for a CD/music video/tour, as well as making money from royalties for performances at the Centre:

$5000 in Cash Bursaries

Artists who perform at the Centre St-Ambroise in 2010 are eligible to win one of five $1000 cash bursaries, which will be chosen by the Centre St-Ambroise staff. Bursaries will be awarded in early 2011.

We understand how difficult it can be as a working musician, so the $5000 in cash prizes is our way of supporting the artists and bands that support us.
